Finally I have a minute to post pics of the reason why I stopped writing on the family blog. Selling and building a home was overwhelming in so many ways to me. I had a lot a fun picking things out, but I have to agree with many people that say building a house can be a very stressful and all consuming experience. I am so grateful to have sold our home after about 40 days on the market. I had 38 showings which made for a lot of eating out and frantic cleanings. My poor kids suffered through my crazy cleaning sprees. But they were troopers and never complained about eating out :) My mom and Scott's mom were also so helpful to come over and help me pull it all together on many days. I also had so many wonderful friends who watched my kids and helped me stay sane through it all.
We moved out of our house at the end of July and spent 2 1/2 months living at my mom's house before our home was ready. My mom is a SAINT!!!! We were so grateful to move into our home on Oct 19th!
