Christmastime!

Ella's looking so grown up these days!
Caroline had a blast ice skating.
Cal's first time ice skating!

The kids love playing Wii and were so excited about the Wii Fit they got from Grandma and some new Wii games.

Each of the kids drew names and had to make a gift for each other. Ella made a blanket fro Caroline, Caroline made a night light for Cal, Cal made a picture frame for Ella and Millie painted some animal statues for Caroline. It was so cute to see how excited they were to give each other their gifts.

Cal LOVED his new shoes. He had specifically requested black Vans. He wore them to bed on Christmas.
Ella really wanted a MG High School sweatshirt and Grammy came through on that. Almost all of Ella's gifts were clothes - I guess we're to that stage now :(

Mille was so cute this year! She was just delighted by everything. She loves Dora, so Santa brought her a talking Dora backpack which she was SO excited about!

Santa put some Ben 10 characters in Cal's stocking! Some of Cal's favorite gifts were a GI Joe Sword, a Nerf sword, a double light saber and a Nerf gun (notice any trends here?).

Caroline asked Santa for a rock collection and a Huskie stuffed animal.

Santa brought Ella UGGs. I have become a complete fan of these boots, especially here in MN.

Scott read the kids a nice Christmas story that my Mom brought over on Christmas Eve. It was a gift from some special friends of hers. It was about a family in Germany that were taught and blessed by the missionaries at Christmastime. My parents joined the Church in Germany 35 years ago.

The kids in their Christmas Eve PJs! Cal had to get stitches under his eye a couple days before because Millie dropped an angel from a nativity set on his head. He was appropriately wearing a shirt that said "blame my sister." The nurses at the ER got a kick out of that.

Cal the Wiseguy (I mean Wiseman).

Avery the Angel and Caroline the Shepherd.

Some cute snowman cupcakes my friend, Jacey, taught me how to make.
