Halloween Activities

Scott and I went to a couples Halloween party and we didn't really discuss or even think about our costume until the day before. I tried to think of something that would require the least amount of work, but still had a couple theme. A friend suggest Edward and Bella and I went with it. (I'm not a Twilight fanatic, just to be clear.) Scott was a good sport and let me put white face paint on him and the kids loved seeing us get dressed up. Just seeing the kids get excited makes it all worth it sometimes.

The General Mills Fall Festival

The kids always love the face painting.

Preschool Halloween Party
I borrowed the Belle costume from Kristy and Millie couldn't have been more excited to be a princess. She walked around in those plastic shoes all afternoon.
All kids in Millie's preschool class are adorable and Mrs. Burg and Mrs. Kathy are the BEST!

I had to put in this pic of johnny (he wouldn't let me take a pic of him, so I had to be sneaky) - Kristy borrowed two of Cal's old costumes and Johnny insisted on wearing them both- half pirate/half knight - cracked us up!

Carving Pumpkins with the Davis crew

On Halloween Night I always make homemade donuts and have a little donut party after trick or treating for anyone that wants to come. Because Halloween was on Sunday this year I didn't have people over, but I still made donuts and we went around and delivered some to a few of our neighbors. DP took this shot of us at their doorstep on Halloween.

  1. Carey, I love your Edward-Bella outfit. I actually started smiling at my computer when I saw you guys. My kids had the same response as yours did when they saw that Brady and I had matching costumes...

I can't believe that you canned all of that applesauce. You are such a great mom!
