Calvin turned 4 in May and we got a sports bouncy house in our back yard to celebrate. The people who we rented it from forgot to pick it up, so instead of having it for 1 day, we had it for three! All the neighborhood kids had so much fun. We allow our kids to have "friends" birthday parties every other year, and this was Calvin's first year and he was so excited.
I like to think of Cal as my little lightening bolt - he is very unpredictable and you never know where he's going to strike. He can be so mellow and easy-going sometimes and then without notice he can freak out over some minor little thing. Some people may call this passive-aggressive. Calvin definitely has a sensitive side and can be very loving when he isn't grumpy. Calvin is in preschool 3 afternoons a week and his favorite thing to do there is sled on the little hill at the playground. Cal's drink of choice is orange juice - calcium fortified Tropicana - no pulp.
Cal's favorite activities are: wrestling with dad, playing Legos and Ben 10 with his best bud Owen, playing Wii , riding bikes/scooter, sledding, gymnastics, and he's starting basketball ball tomorrow.
