Millie turned 1 in August and we celebrated with a free birthday cake from Byerlys. Mills is growing up way too fast as the younger children always seem to do. Millie brings so much joy into our home and is definitely the center of attention. Mills is on a steep learning curve right now as she is beginning to talk. She can probably say about 10 words (mama, dada, baba, ball, ruf ruf, shoes, boots, cookie, Ella, moo, gogurt) and seems to add a new one every day. She has three best girl friends that she loves play with - Addy, Ruby and Chloe. Some of her favorite activities are: reading books (especially the ones with babies), hanging out with dad, playing outside, going to the child care at the gym, eating ice cream, sneaking into the kids room to make a mess, playing in mom's bathroom drawers and wearing shoes. We are counting down the weeks until she can go into nursery at church. Amelia/Millie has a ton of nick names, some of which we have got to stop using before they stick for good. They are: Mills, Millers, Millard, General Millie, Millster, Ms. Mills, Millicent, and the Millinator. Amazingly we never call her Millie Vanillie - thank goodness!
