Theater Camp and T-ball

Caroline attended a "Rock the Stage" camp put on by Stages Theater Company with two of her good friends, Savannah and Abbey last week. It was Monday - Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm. I thought it might get a little long for her, but she was so excited to go everyday and had a blast! It was so fun to watch the final performance on the last day. I tried to upload a video of a couple of her numbers, but it was taking FOREVER, so I'll try again later.

Jazz hands!

Cal had his first t-ball game tonight and he was one excited little boy. Unfortunately Scott had to miss it because of a trip to China, so I wanted to get these pics up quick so he could see how well our little slugger is doing.

Cal intensely watches what other baseball players do and tries mimic the random non-sport related things. He even has the jock scratch and the spitting down. He really wanted to tuck his shirt in tonight ("because that's how the Twins do it"), but I made him untuck because you could see his spiderman underwear through the white pants.

see the spit flying out of his mouth - boys are gross

running home!

Cal was up to bat twice and nailed the ball on the first try both times. He had been practicing sliding at home all afternoon and I told him that "sliding probably wasn't necessary in t-ball," but he couldn't resist.

The cheering section...

We went to the library today, so Caroline decided to "read and cheer." Library days are lovely because Caroline will read her new books all day long and won't have a chance to tease Cal (her other favorite past time :) ).

  1. Thanks for posting the pics of Cal's game so quickly - I love it! Nice capture of the mid-air spit too, very impressive. I was laughing so loud here in my room that I'm probably worrying anyone in hearing distance. Love you all the way from Hong Kong!
