A visit from Brooklyn and Savannah and Summer Fun!

My 2 nieces (my sister's daughters) got to fly by themselves all the way from Oregon for a 2 week visit. We have been having so much fun with them here.

the girls sleeping at grammy's house

Grammy lets the girls make bed time desserts at night

One of my favorite bookstores ever - there are all kinds of animals roaming free and in cages - so fun!

the annual MG days parade

the kids loaded up on candy

our friend's daughter was so scared of the clowns - I can see why!

all the loot from the parade

the art fair at MG days - the face painting was free!

our pack of tigers

Millie wanted Dora of course

Swimming at the lake. The kids have had so much going to one of the lakes by our house to swim and play at the beach. The weather has been perfect for beach days.

Mills loves this slide and will be going up and down it the whole time

Of course we had to take the girls to the MOA!

Millie's favorite thing was seeing all the characters. It was so cute to see how excited she got. When Ella was that age we couldn't have even stepped foot in the Mall of America because she was insanely terrified of any costumed person. It's crazy how different kids can be.

Savannah was like "this is not cool"

love the faces

.
Cal loves the Lego store

We all screamed for ice cream at the end of the day.

The girls had fun selling drinks, candy and silly bands while I had my first ever garage sale.
