Ella wanted to get a fancy dress for the "Senior Ball" at the Rose Arbor retirement center. The youth in our Ward have done this event before and the residents LOVE it! They had a live band and everything. Ella needed a couple new dresses anyway, so my Mom and I took her to the Mall a couple of weeks ago to start the search for a "fancy" and modest dress. I thought it was going to be a real challenge, but we ended up getting the first two dresses we tried on at Macy's. She also needed some shoes. She wanted high heels - oh my she's growing up!
