My super talented friend, Darci, and her amazing photographer cousin, Shannon, took our family pics this year. Darci's cousin was only in town for a few days, so we had a limited window of time to schedule slots. I was so excited to get in one of her time slots but a few days before the shoot, Scott informed me that he would out of town (it was not on the calendar - grrrr!). I didn't want to miss the chance to have two great photographers take our pics, so I just figured I'd have them do the kids. I thought a mommy/kids shot would be fun too. Darci and Shannon did such a great job making the kids look good and the setting they chose was perfect. I am so bummed Scott wasn't there and seriously considered putting the following pic on our Christmas Card with a photo-shopped photo of Scott sticking his head out of an airplane at the top.
