Christmas Wrap-Up

The Elf on the Shelf came to our house this year and the kids loved waking up every morning to see where Buddy was hiding. Millie and Calvin were especially into it. I'm laughing at this pic because the lamp shades are crooked and a light bulb is out. You would have thought I would have noticed that before I took the pic.

Gingerbread cookies for FHE and to deliver to our neighbors.

Millie's preschool program. I am in love with her cute little preschool. I forgot my camera - luckily Scott took this pic on his phone.

 Some goodies to deliver!

Scott's mom gave us tickets to see A Christmas Carol at the Gutherie for our Christmas gift. She kept Millie for us so we could all go. What a wonderful gift! The production was AMAZING and the kids had so much fun. I was a little worried about how Cal would do, but he was enthralled. It totally got us all in the Christmas Spirit. What a great way to spend Christmas Eve.

Pics from the top of the Guthrie Theatre. A view of the Mississippi River.

Scott holding Cal like tiny Tim.

We celebrated Christmas Eve night with the Hatch Family (Scott's sister's family). Our kids were loving all the cousin time and spent a good portion of the night outside playing in the snow and sledding down there deck stairs. It's a Baldwin family tradition to have fondue for Christmas Eve dinner. Such a fun tradition! This year they added cheese curds to the menu - Yum!

All of Norda's kids got her a Kindle for Christmas. She was so excited!

When we got home after our fondue feast, we read a special Christmas story and opened new PJs.

Christmas Morning!

Waiting at the top of the stairs to see what Santa brought.

Santa brought Millie an Ariel dress

Ella a new coat

Caroline a new camera
 and Cal some ZhuZhu pets

My mom gave me a new fry pan and Scott a Flip video camera. I was so excited to try out my new pan for our crepe Christmas breakfast. Scott was hankering for a new video camera and I kept telling him to hold off, so he was super excited.

The kids drew each other for homemade gifts. Caroline had Millie and made her this cute little doll.
I love watching how excited the kids get about their homemade gifts.

Ella really wanted a pair of these crazy Nike kicks. I guess they are all the rage - I don't know why?

Ella made Cal this reversible football pillow. Vikings on one side and Packers on the other.
Cal loves his Vans. He wears them out so quickly and I have tried to get him other, more sturdy shoes, but he won't have it. He was so excited to get these for Christmas.

Millie loves to sweep, so this little broom made her day.

The pillow pets from Grammy Skeeles were a HUGE hit!

 Crepes for breakfast!

I don't have any still shots of the big surprise Christmas gift. Scott was videoing the whole thing and I haven't figured out how to post videos yet. We told the kids that we were taking them to Disney World on Dec 29th for a week. They went crazy! It was so fun!
