My family and friends were so sweet to me on my birthday. I feel like I celebrated all week. Last Saturday I got to go shopping with mom, Sunday my mom made a great b-day dinner for me (chicken & rice, Greek salad and my favorite chocolate pie). On Thursday, Ella and kids made me breakfast, Jacey watched my kids and then arranged a b-day lunch at Biaggi's. I had some special deliveries and Scott took me to Target for our special date. I loved it all! I wish I would have taken more pictures of people and not things, but I wanted to remember some of the special surprises that
put a smile on my face.
My Birthday Pie - Renfroe's famous recipe
I love to watch Scott's reaction after he takes his first bite of something delicious.
Scott didn't have to worry about a cake because some awesome friends brought me this cute cake and
this chocolate/peanut butter piece of heaven.
Can you believe this Reese's encrusted cake! There are even Reeses baked inside.
I gave Scott many hints...actually I just told him what I wanted ;)
My sweet friends know what I love...Ina's cooking, anthropology, Banana and
handmade jewelry (not in picture)
Ella spent her own money to buy me this fun bath set from Lush. She said I could use it to relax after my long runs. Such a sweet moment.
My mom ordered these chocolates for us for Easter, but I have been totally hogging them and there is only 1 left. They are such a sweet childhood memory. When my dad would travel to Chicago he would always bring these home for my grandma and us. Vanilla Buttercreams from Fannie May's will always remind me of my dad, my Grandma Van and home.
Another sweet friend brought me these beautiful tulips.

Happy Belated Birthday Carrie. You must be so loved to have all these fun things for your birthday. I can see why..you are so awesome. Suz xoxo
