Caroline and I have been participating in a Mother/Daughter Book Club with some friends and it has been so fun. This month it was our turn to host and choose the book. We chose this book:
It was a cute book about a greedy boy named John Midas who loves to eat candy, especially chocolate.
For our book club night we definitely wanted to serve chocolate. I borrowed a chocolate fountain from a friend and it was a huge hit! The girls were in heaven dipping strawberries, bananas, pineapple, pretzels and even some vegetables in chocolate.
For our craft we decorated our own chocolate boxes. I forgot to take a picture of the inside the box, but we had a piece of chocolate wrapped in gold paper just like in the book.
