Cal asked me to set out our pancake mix the night before St. Patrick's day so that the leprechaun could turn it green. I don't usually do much for St Patrick's day, but I did this last year and he didn't let me forget. Little things like that they totally remember.
I had an emergency root canal done yesterday and was not in the celebrating mood, but the weather so nice and the kids were playing outside the minute they got home from school so that cheered me up a bit. Also my friend, Jacey, kept Millie all day so I had a little time to pull something together for dinner. My mom also helped me out a ton by picking up some groceries for me at the store. Dinner consisted of green Jello, green milk, broccoli and pork chops with rice. Once I got going I even decided to make a
green velvet cake - Yum!.
